Software Updates

Connect to the update server to check for new software

versions.

Enter the menu as follows: MAIN MENU > SYSTEM 1.

SETUP > Software update. Press [SELECT] to conrm.

Move the highlight to ‘Auto- check setting’. Press 2.

[SELECT] to conrm. The radio will now auto-check

for software updates periodically.

When the previous screen displays, move the high-3.

light to ‘Check now’ and press [SELECT] to conrm.

Your radio software is now up-to-date.

Software updates can take several minutes. Do

not interrupt the update or switch the radio o un-

til the update is complete. Interrupting the update

may cause permanent damage to the system.
